SALARY: The salary range for this position is $45,797.
84 to $72,189.
54 for Schedule A, and $45,797.
84 to $68,580.

For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range.
For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.
Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A.
Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule B.

The Information Technology Division in Vicinage 13 is seeking a motivated professional with excellent customer service, analytical, and technical skills.
Under the direction of the Information Technology Assistant Division Manager (Court Executive 2B), the selected individual’s duties will include but are not limited to the purchasing and distribution of IT assets including toner, wireless mice and keyboards, headsets, mousepads, cell phones, cell phone chargers and cables; maintaining inventory and surplus tracking of IT equipment; assisting the Fixed Assets coordinator with the annual inventory of IT assets; assisting in preparing requests for IT-related initiatives and special projects; receiving all IT goods; matching purchase orders, receipts, and invoices, and uploading relevant documents to ePP1 systems and liaising with the Finance Division on all these responsibilities.
The position will also be responsible for coordinating IT equipment disposal in accordance with judiciary policies and procedures.
Serving as the administrative support person to the IT Division Manager; preparing correspondence, handling telephone calls, organizing meetings, monitoring emails and managing calendars; organizing and coordinating IT recruitments; liaising with HR Division regarding new employees and equipment needs and timing of distribution; liaising with the Operations Division regarding facilities as it relates to equipment installation, and space needs/planning and organizing confidential materials for release to management, staff and union representatives.
Other duties as assigned.
REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings.
To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
Qualifications Three years of experience in an office environment performing a variety of clerical and support services to include keyboarding and one or more of the following: document or information processing, handling payments for fees, recording monies received, reconciling balances or accounts and/or scheduling meetings or appointments.
Testing: Applicants selected to interview must pass an appointing authority administered examination to demonstrate keyboarding skills at the Judiciary standard of at least 25 words per minute, or must have otherwise demonstrated this competency as detailed below.
The appointing authority administered examination is waived for the following applicants who have been deemed to possess keyboarding skills at the Judiciary standard of 25 words per minute: All applicants who possess a current typing proficiency certification issued by the New Jersey Civil Service Commission or the New Jersey Judiciary.
Judiciary staff that have permanent status in a career service title requiring a keyboarding, typing or stenography test.
Judiciary staff in unclassified titles requiring a keyboarding, typing or stenography test.
Supplemental Information Driver's License: Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.
Authorization to Work: US citizenship is not required.
Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations.
