Could This Be For You?: As a Clinical Extender, you will have the opportunity to support the orthotic clinicians with patient care and perform various tasks that are administrative, operational and/or clinical.
The ideal candidate will have a background with physical therapy and/or orthotics.
Your Impact: Assist clinician with patient care duties, including prepping rooms for patients, weighing, documentation, etc Assist with fittings as needed, including measurements, repairs, adjustments, performing impressions, etc Prepare devices for positive rectification Assist patients in follow ups and general care of devices Perform delivery of devices to patients as needed Perform administrative tasks such as entering information into EMR systems, answer phones, scheduling, and patient check in Perform general Scribe duties Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required.
Prior experience with electronic health/medical record systems (preferably NextGen).
Minimum one to two years of medical experience required or equivalent combination of work and education.
Prior scribe experience or LPN strongly preferred.

Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills for reporting information to patient and staff.
Effective organizational skills and ability to prioritize and plan for the purpose of meeting deadlines.
