*SUMMARY:*
Works within the Finance and HR areas supporting both teams with accounting, administrative and people-related functions.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
*Accounting *
* Process payroll on a biweekly basis
* Reconcile payroll and process journal entries
* Assist Accounting Manager on budget and forecasting
* Compile reports on employee-related information for Finance as needed
* Process, audit and approve expenses via the expense system
* Entry of expenses in accounts payable system
* Assign and monitor corporate credit cards and statements
* Process monthly Amex payments, allocate expenses and post to the General Ledger
* Submit and maintain State filings, Seller of Travel certificates and business registrations for each applicable jurisdiction
* Other Ad-hoc accounting duties and tasks, as assigned
*Human Resources*
* Conduct onboarding administration for new employees
* Process benefit enrollments and audit invoices on a monthly basis
* Assist with annual benefit open enrollment
* Process 401k enrollments and biweekly contribution files with 401k vendor
* Process HSA distributions on a biweekly basis via vendor website
* Setup and monitor state employment tax accounts and communicate with payroll vendor as needed
* Track receipt and filing of employee documents, as required
*REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:*
* Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent work experience with Accounting and Payroll
* Minimum 3 years business experience
* Knowledge of accounting, expense and payroll software required
* Intermediate knowledge of MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Detail-oriented with good analytical skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work across all levels and functions of CIE Tours under own initiative.
