SciTec has an immediate opportunity for a talented Senior General Ledger Accountant.
Responsibilities
Perform general accounting functions
Reconcile general ledger and job cost ledger
Review and reconcile payroll, employee leave and 401k
Review and reconcile AP
Implement automation of accounting operations
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with accounting courses
Must be a U.
S.
Citizen
At least 4 years of experience with General Ledger operations, including AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliations & financial reporting
Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals
Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office software
Strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Detail oriented
Good verbal and written communication skills
Candidates who have the following skills will be preferred
Experience with federal contract accounting, including indirect rate analysis

The pay range for this position is $88,000 - $107,000 / year.
