Hikma Pharmaceuticals is currently seeking a talented Summer Intern to join their Accounting team in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey.
As an Intern, you will earn practical experience as a fully integrated member of our team and participate in meaningful projects that will add value to our organization.
Responsibilities
Internship program participant role includes assisting with the accounting monthly close process through responsibilities such as analyzing financial statements, posting of transactions, data compilation, reporting, general ledger review, assisting with internal/external audit requests, monthly close procedures and assist with process/control documentation.
As an Hikma Accounting intern, you'll get hands-on experience working on the monthly close process, solving accounting-related questions through liaising with other Business Partners, interacting with senior executives, getting paired with a mentor, learning on how to work on a team and developing business acumen.
Other common tasks include analysis of financial questions and problems, problem solving, active business partnering and developing innovative methods to improve processes and controls.
Complete other ad hoc responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Student in good academic standing.
Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.
Overall, cumulative GPA must be at least 3.
0 (on 4.
0 scale) or better.
Pursuing degree in Finance or Accounting.
Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills.
Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Highly motivated and inquisitive with a strong desire to learn.
Organization skills to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to details.
Planning and Organizational skills.
Proficient usage of Microsoft Office applications.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction, no sponsorship offered at this time.
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background.
Must be willing to take a drug test.
