Project Accountant

```Duties``` - Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP - Perform journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations - Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes - Conduct cash flow analysis and monitor financial performance - Collaborate with project managers to track project costs and ensure accurate accounting - Provide guidance and mentoring to junior accounting staff - Utilize accounting software to record and track financial transactions - Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors ```Requirements``` - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards - Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel - Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis - Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping - Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
