GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The AVP Financial Reporting has various responsibilities within the Accounting Department, primarily assisting the Director of Financial Reporting and Controller in internal and external financial reporting.
This position will be involved in the monthly and quarterly financial close process and analysis of results.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.
Assist in the preparation of all Bank Regulatory Reporting and SEC filings including the quarterly Call Reports and the 10-K, 10-Qs, 8-K's;
2.
Assist in the preparation of footnote disclosures for quarterly and annual regulatory filings, both SEC filings and Call Reports;
3.
Tie out supporting work papers to the Form 10-Q/ Form 10-K/Call Report prior to filing and organize in binders and electronic files;
4.
Complete month end functions to assist close reporting, including preparing monthly BOD reporting package and monthly reconciliations of certain balance sheet accounts;
5.
Assist in the quarterly loan allowance calculation process, including rollforward of related memos;
6.
Assist in audit information requests as needed;
7.
Liaise with external audit team as requested to provide support, respond to questions, and track resolution of issues;
8.
Perform Sarbanes-Oxley testing as required;
9.
Assist in the preparation of investor relations presentations;
10.
Performs any adhoc reporting, analysis and special assignments as needed and all other appropriate duties which may be assigned.
