*WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:*
*Medical Essential Diagnostics *is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team that presents hardworking, determined, and detailed-oriented skills! We are expanding rapidly, and we need an individual who is a self-starter, and is able to handle tasks independently.
This position is an entry-level position, and will be reporting to the Accounting Manager, and working closely to the Chief Operating Officer.
The ideal candidate would demonstrate an understanding of the basics of recordkeeping, reconciling bank statements, and balancing the ledger for month-end close.
*Responsibilities:*
Reconciling the company bank statements and recording transactions monthly for the month-end close.
Completing an analysis of the employee expenditures at the end of the month.
Sending and processing bills in an accurate and timely manner.
Going through the department's inbox daily.
Making sure that emails are being answered promptly and correctly.
*Skills:*
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited College or University.
* 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping.
* Uses their time management skills to meet required deadlines in a timely manner.
* Demonstrates intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel as well as any other Microsoft Office applications.
* Demonstrates intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge in a Google Drive.
For example, Google Docs and Google Sheets.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experienced with QuickBooks (1 year) - *Required*
