Seasonal Tax Preparer

We are seeking a seasonal tax return preparer for the upcoming tax return season to join our team.

This professional will collaborate with the team to: * Prepare complex individual tax returns (Form 1040) * Prepare fiduciary filings (Form 1041) * Communicate with clients to retrieve necessary documents and to resolve open items *Our ideal candidate will have the following experience/attributes:* * Minimum of 3 years of tax preparation experience with a history of preparing at least 100 tax returns in a tax season * Experience with Schedules A, B, C, D and E * Experience with multistate returns * Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with clients and staff * Knowledge of Lacerte or comparable tax preparation software * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks to timely meet deadlines * Team player used to working in a collaborative environment that is focused on accomplishing goals in a timely manner * CPA or EA designation a plus We offer a flexible environment and can tailor the position depending on the experience level and desires of the candidate in terms of days and hours worked.
However, we are ideally looking for someone who can work 30-40 hours a week from mid-February through mid-April.
We anticipate this being an in-person position but are open to remote work within reason.
