Magone & Company is a tech-savvy, entrepreneurial CPA firm in northern New Jersey.
We are seeking an experienced *Accountant* to join our growing Client Accounting & Advisory Service (CAS) practice.
You'll be working on a client's full business picture throughout the year, managing various aspects of their daily, weekly or monthly accounting, annual accounting close, including preparation of workpapers, payroll, financials and reporting, and working with our Tax Team to help prepare tax projections and business filings.
We use the latest technologies to support our practice areas, which include Business and Individual Taxation, International Taxation, Audit, Client Advisory Services & Bookkeeping, We serve clients in the tri-state area, nationwide and all over the world who are high net worth, have multi-state business structures, and are subject to international taxation.
Competitive salary will be commensurate with experience as we organize talent in our various practice areas.
*Requirements for Accounting Specialist:*
* 2+ years experience required in Accounting Services, Quickbooks (QBO/QBD), Payroll, Financial Reporting
* Accounting degree required
* CPA certification is a Plus
* Knowledge of basic tax concepts is a Plus
* Natural proficiency with math
* Enjoy a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of basic financial and accounting principles
* Proficiency with office productivity applications, and aptitude for learning new systems
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, quality focus, client service focus and performance under strict deadlines
* Strong aptitude in all Microsoft Office programs
